MVHR Filters

Manufacturers recommend you change your filters every 3-6 months, depending on usage and location. Doing so ensures your unit runs in its most energy-efficient state and your home is supplied with fresh, clean air. Most MVHR units have 2 filters inside, 1 for air going in, 1 for air going out. So, unless specially stated on the product page, you will receive two filters with each quantity ordered.

The most sure-fire way to get the correct filters is to measure the existing filters in your unit, and compare these to the measurements listed on the product pages for the brand of your MVHR unit. Yes, it is very easy to change the filters in an MVHR unit. Every unit varies slightly, so it is recommended you check the guide for yours, but generally the filters are installed on the front face, and simply slot in and out. You can view our more in depth guide here.
