H14 Multi-Wedge HEPA Filter – Exacting High-Efficiency Filtration

This week we are stepping away from our panel filter range and looking at the opposite end of the filter spectrum, to one of our highest-grade filters, the H14 Multi Wedge HEPA Filter. The H14 Multi wedge HEPA is constructed with borosilicate micro-glass paper sealed into a hard plastic case. The HEPA paper is pleated using a continuous glue bead separator. The filter media packs are arranged in Vee-formation to maximise the available paper surface area.

The multi wedge HEPA filters are used when an extremely exacting degree of air filtration is required, such as use in hospital clean rooms, laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry, food processing, hazardous material handling and many other critical processes.

When installing a HEPA filter, we advise using a pre-filter such as a bag filter, rigid bag filter or pleated panel filter to prolong the life and efficiency of the HEPA filter.

How do you unbox a HEPA filter?

When opening and unboxing your HEPA filter, you must do so with caution, as the HEPA paper is very fragile. You should avoid using a knife where possible and instead peel the tape from the box, then fold open the top and carefully tip the box upside down. Then gently lift the box off the HEPA. When handling a HEPA filter, do not touch the paper pleats, only handle the case.
